A key part of your language travel experience happens once classes are over. The best way to practise your new language skills is to get out and use them in the real world. We know you will also want to find out about the country you are visiting, to sample the lifestyle of her people and to explore the area. In each of our locations LAL excels in providing social and leisure activities that are fun, engaging and good value for money.

Valletta Tour: The excursion will start from the Upper Barrakka Gardens where the students will have a magnificent view of the Grand Harbour and Cottonera. The group will then pass in front of St John?s Co-Cathedral. The next place to visit will be The Great Siege Diorama which tells the story of the Great Siege of Malta 1565. There is also the option of Audio Visuals shows such as ?Valletta Living History? or ?Malta Experience?.

Mdina Tour: Visit the streets of the medieval capital of Malta, today known as the `silent city`, whilst the guide will unravel its rich history. The students will be shown the city?s secretive narrow winding streets to discover its dwarfed doorways, till they reach the Mdina bastions from where a stunning, almost 360 degree panoramic view of the island can be seen. The tour will continue with a visit to Dingli cliffs, known as the highest cliffs on the island.

The Three Cities Tour: Students will step back through the mists of time as they are taken to the fortress of Cottonera which is widely known as the three cities, these being Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea, built and fortified by the Knights of Malta. The tour will start with an informative drive through Cospicua followed by a visit to Vittoriosa. Here students will navigate the narrow streets and mysterious alleyways shaded by many historic palaces and churches.
