St. Julian's is a town in Malta situated along the coast, north of the country's capital, Valletta. It is known for tourism-oriented businesses, such as hotels, restaurants and nightclubs which are centred mainly in an area known as Paceville.

The area has all types of hotels and a busy shopping complex nearby. An excellent promenade by the waters edge extends all the way to Sliema making for a lovely ‘stroll.’ For even livelier nightlife, St Julians is very close to Malta’s entertainment ‘hot-spot’, Paceville. Overall, St Julian’s is one of the more popular choices for a holiday in Malta.

St. Julian's is popular amongst both the locals and tourists alike, especially during the summer months, where visitors take advantage of the good weather to enjoy long walks on the seafront promenade. The landscape of St. Julians is dominated by the tallest building in Malta, Portomaso Tower that stands at 98 metres.

The St Julians weather is perfect for planning your holiday. Winters are wet and windy, in January the daily average maximum temperatures is 16°C with the average minimum 10°C.

Summers are virtually guaranteed to be dry and hot, in June the average maximum is 29°C with a minimum of 19°C. The beach season spans about 6 months from the end of April to the end of October. 

Indeed, bus services in Malta provide a level of public transport never before achieved on the island, linking almost all of the islands, every village and every town. We provide express services to and from the airport, shuttle services, circular routes that connect mainline routes and so on.

Main Line: routes (numbered 1-99) which run to/from Valletta.

Direct: services numbered 101-299 which connect in with the other services at interchange points, which provide links from the main tourist areas to visitor attractions such as Mdina, Buskett Gardens, Golden Bay and the Blue Grotto.

Night Buses: services run on Friday and Saturday Night every 30 or 60 minutes and follow the same routes but from the Paceville area of St Julians instead of Valletta.  Special fares apply on these services.

Wine and Dine: There are a good number of bars and restaurants in St. Julian's offering a variety of cuisines and atmospheres.

Balluta Bay: is also popular amongst visitors; it is dominated by the neo-gothic church and the impeccaple Balluta Buildings built on the art nouveau style. There are also a couple of traditional terraced houses built in the Georgian-style.

Spinola Palace: Spinola Palace was built in 1688, a building that is seen as the first stepping stone that started St. Julian's development. This palace and the adjacent gardens were built as the inscription found above the portico. 

Walk along the promenade: You can take a long walk on the promenade that stretches from St. Julian's all the way to Sliema, and enjoy breathtaking views of the sea, Marsamxett harbour and Valletta. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars along the way to keep you well fresh in the sunshine.

Visit Portomaso area: One of the poshest areas in Malta, Portomaso offers a number of shops with luxurious goods, high-class restaurants and a beautiful yacht marina.
