ELS / Seattle is located in the trendy Capitol Hill district of the city, against a backdrop of majestic Mount Rainier, the Cascade Mountains and the Olympic Mountains background. ELS / Seattle is also surrounded by exclusive boutiques, quirky coffee shops and neighborhood cafes.
ELS is steps from Pike Place, Pacific Place Shopping Center and the Broadway district. Local attractions include the Gorge Amphitheater, the pier by the sea and the famous Space Needle in Seattle. The magnificent Pacific Coast, the city of Portland and Vancouver, are just few hours away.
First Hill Apartments(Student Residence (Off Campus))
Males & females are placed in separate lofts or apartments although apartment floors are coed. Americans also live at the lofts and First Hill apartments and may reside on the same floor (different lofts/apartments).
Two students share a room in a 2-bedroom (4 person) apartment-style residence with a shared bathroom (1 bathroom/per 4 people).
Each apartment has a furnished kitchen, desk, chairs, and living room with TV. Apartments include 4 beds (2 in each room) and closets. Linens are also included. Students clean their own rooms and loft/apartment during their stay.
Self-service laundry machines are available in the dorm loft/apartment building (small fee). Security: During working hours, there is a front desk for security. After hours, the front door is locked and a key is needed to enter. There are no resident assistants.
