ELS / Miami is located on the campus of 36 acres of Barry University, in a quiet neighborhood of Miami, Florida. Florida is a tropical paradise, offering sunshine, blue ocean waters and white sand beaches throughout the year.
ELS / Miami is located just 20 minutes from the city and the world famous Miami Beach. The Miami area is known for its exciting outdoor activities including snorkeling, jet skiing, water skiing and boating.
Homestays in the area(Homestay)
Some students travel to the campus in Miami Shores by foot. We have many hosts that provide bikes. Also the students can take a bus. Some homestays are further and bus will be the only alternative. Some hosts pick up the students after school or drive in the AM, but not every day.
Capri Gardens(Student Residence (Off Campus))
Capri Gardens is a mid-sized, gated, apartment complex. Located 5 blocks north from the Barry University campus, students have a short, 15 minute walk to campus. Apartments are fully furnished with ceramic tiled living room with dining area, fully-stocked, eat-in kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths.
Students bedrooms are equipped with personal desks, chairs and dressers. Bed linens and towels are provided. Students may choose to have a single room with a private bath or a shared room with a shared bath. Capri Gardens has a large, outdoor swimming pool and several tennis courts available for students' use.
