CCEL Auckland offers a variety of English course including General English, Business English, Cambridge Exam Preparation and English for Academic Purposes. Students studying with us have the chance to pathway into leading education institutions in New Zealand including, the University of Canterbury, UCIC (University of Canterbury International College), YooBee school of Design, NZMA and the International Academy of Aviation New Zealand.
CCEL is the UC’s English Language provider. If students successfully finish an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course at CCEL (and meet UC’s academic entry requirements) can then transfer to a pre-degree programme at the University of Canterbury International College (UCIC) or an undergraduate or post graduate degree programme at UC without taking IELTS. Students can also pathway from the EAP course to our other partners without taking IELTS.
Our teachers are professional and highly experienced. They are committed to helping students improve their English inside and outside of the classroom. On average our teaching staff have 8 years of classroom experience. Our teachers regularly join in student activities and spend time with students outside of the classroom.
CCEL has a large number of kind and caring host families, which we have carefully chosen. Our host families are experienced in looking after international students and understand how to help them get the most from their experience.

CCEL Auckland has a fantastic and varied after school activities programme. Our regular activities include, a free weekly Conversation Club. Other activities include, visiting the aquarium, markets and wildlife colonies, ten-pin bowling, dinner and a movie nights, winery tours and weekend trips to Rotorua, Taupo, Waitomo and the Bay of Islands.
