St Giles International London Highgate

London is definitely a place of contrasts. Each of its "small villages" has its own identity.

London is definitely a place of contrasts. Each of its "small villages" has its own identity. If you choose any given adjective, you are sure that it can be used to describe one of the districts of London. For Highgate, 'laid back' comes readily to mind. You'll love it! Only 20 minutes by underground train away from the city centre, Highgate is ideal for enjoying London without the hassles of the city. The calm after the storm.

Our partner school is located in a beautiful Victorian style house. There are 23 well-equipped classrooms, a large library, a digital language lab and a multimedia room with free internet access. Students benefit from an optimal setting for making friends and practising the language. They can also enjoy excellent homemade dishes from the cafeteria, on the veranda or in the school’s lovely gardens.

Each weekend, the school offers a list of social and cultural activities in London. It also organises video evenings, barbecues, visits to the pub and parties. At the weekend, you can discover famous places such as Oxford, Canterbury or Cambridge. And don’t forget that London and all its possibilities are just a short trip away!

At St Giles we offer a complete package ensuring you have everything you need for a successful and enjoyable period of study. We offer you a wide choice of accommodation options for all needs and budgets, transfers to and from our centres, social activities and comprehensive insurance.

Support and Welfare: Our staff are here to help and support you from the moment you arrive in our schools, to the day you return home. We have welfare officers in every centre to ensure your safety and well-being, while our Academic Counsellors will help you with your studies and can advise you on your future career or educational life.

We also have dedicated Child Protection Officers who are responsible for students under the age of 18. You will also receive a 24-hour telephone number for use outside school hours.

Social Programme: Our social and excursion programmes are designed to help you have fun, make friends, practise your English, and explore the city and country you are living in. At each year-round school there is an Activity Organiser who will arrange afternoon, evening and weekend activities.

You can choose from local weekday activities and sports, a range of full-day weekend excursions, as well as mini-breaks over the weekend. There will be at least five events each week.
