BEET Language Centre was established in 1979, since when it has grown in size and reputation.

BEET Language Centre was established in 1979, since when it has grown in size and reputation. BEET remains firmly a "family" school, encouraging an atmosphere of warmth and friendship, in which each individual student can develop their full potential to learn English.

BEET offers English Language Courses, IELTSand Cambridge Examination Preparation andTeacher Training. We are accredited by the British Council and a member of English UK.BEET is proud to be a member of  IALC, Quality English and TEN.

BEET is an English language school dedicated to maintaining the highest quality in everything we do, including teaching, accommodation, administration and our very comprehensive social programme. 

Evening Activities

The school is open at least four evenings a week, and provides a varied programme of lectures, films, music, quizzes etc. Occasional evening visits to the theatre, sports venues or New Forest pubs are also organised.

The Lecture Programme


The very popular lecture programme is on at least two evenings a week. Lectures cover a wide variety of subjects, which may include British history and institutions, literature, poetry, pop and folk songs, and various social aspects of life in Britain. Sometimes the lectures give you valuable background information about the town or place to which we have organised a Saturday excursion.
