The expansive riverside campus is located in the exclusive riverside suburb of Kangaroo Point. It has beautifully landscaped and maintained lawns and gardens and provides a peaceful inner-city environment for learning.
At the centre is the magnificent heritage listed Shafston House which was built in 1851. This true campus environment is a distinctive feature of the College and provides students with an opportunity to relax outside the classrooms in the sunshine, enjoying the great Queensland weather.
Also located at this campus are Shafston University Mansions, a twelve-storey tower where visitors will findCafé Renoir, main lobby and reception areas, three levels of classrooms, offices and other academic facilities. There are also nine levels of on-campus accommodation for up to 352 students in either private, twin share or dormitory style rooms.
Other facilities available to students and staff at this campus include a library and student resource centre, as well as multiple computer labs with free internet. Free wireless internet is available to students throughout the campus. The Shafston Fitness Centre is located on the 4th floor and includes a range of cardio equipment, resistance machines and free weights.
The Shafston Travel Centre offers a wide range of help and services from Phone Cards to Adventure Weekends. They can help you book accommodation, holiday packages or just give you some good ideas for fun in Brisbane city.
With the Travel Centre there is something to do every weekend! Choose from Scuba Diving, Surfing, Animal Parks, Rainforest tours, Skydiving, Camping and much more! Located on-campus they are open every school day and the activities never stop.
