Spring and autumn bring pleasant weather to the area. Vibrant wildflowers bloom in spring and are planted around the highways throughout Texas. Springtime weather can be quite volatile, but temperatures themselves are mild.

The weather in Dallas is also generally pleasant between late September and early December, and unlike springtime, major storms rarely form in the area.

Dallas is easy to get to, with two major airports and a host of Interstate and U.S. Highways. And once in town, public transit and a host of private carriers make it a breeze to get around.

DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) gives locals and visitors nearly 72 miles of light rail and 120 routes by bus transit. They provide reliable transportation to locations throughout the city including the Dallas Convention Center, hotels, and destinations that feature shopping, restaurants, and attractions.

Downtown Dallas: Dallas's central business district holds its own very well, boasting impressive architecture, cultural and historic sights, and first-rate shopping. Two of Downtown's top attractions are Dealey Plaza, where John F. Kennedy was assassinated, and the 15-story Plaza of the Americas shopping center, which also features an ice-skating rink.

House of Blues: One of the best live music venues in Dallas. where chefs pay homage to southern-inspired cuisine while also creating regional faire that showcases local specialties. The restaurants are filled with lively music and adorned with original folk art which creates a fun dining experience that will keep your guests rockin' all the way home. 

White Rock Lake park: Encompasses over 1,000 acres of wooded parkland and features 9 miles of jogging and biking trails perfect for spending the day outdoors. 

Texas Stadium: Home to the Dallas Cowboys, is known for its exquisite outdoor beauty and its innovative open roof design, which shelters the stands but leaves the field exposed to the elements. 

The lively event: Each year from late September to the middle of October, more than three million people attend this excellent fair, making it one of the largest annual expositions in North America. It features amusement rides, livestock shows, cooking contests, art competitions, college football games, outdoor musical events, and IMAX film screenings.
