August is the hottest month in Vancouver with an average temperature of 18°C (64°F) and the coldest is January at 4°C (38°F). The wettest month is November. The best month to swim in the sea is in July when the average sea temperature is 14°C (57°F).

The Vancouver transit system, TransLink, is made up of a network of buses and unique services such as the SeaBus and SkyTrain. TransLink provides transit services covering over 1800 square kilometres of the Greater Mainland of Vancouver - getting around the city is convenient, easily accessible and often provides beautiful views of the city!

Buses: TransLink provides continuous bus service throughout the day. In addition to traditional buses are express lines that make fewer stops, or smaller community shuttles that carry fewer passengers to specific areas of the City.

Rapid Transit: Rapid transit refers to the automated trains that run above and below ground. SkyTrain consists of the Expo Line and the Millennium Line. A third system called the Canada Line provides the travel from the airport to Downtown Vancouver.
