ELS / San Antonio is located on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in the prestigious Alamo Heights neighborhood in San Antonio. The city is a thriving cultural center with a laid back atmosphere and friendly inhabitants.
San Antonio has celebrations all year long: Fiesta Rodeo, Cinco de Mayo, Festival of Mud, Parade to Commemorate Martin Luther King, Folklife Festival and more.
ELS students enjoy visiting the 3.2 kilometers of the waterfront of the San Antonio River, where you can find cafes with tables on the sidewalk, night clubs, specialty shops and boutiques.
UIW Marian Hall(Student Residence (On Campus))
Shared typical on campus dorm room. Shared suite-style bathrooms (4 students use). Rooms include two bunkable beds, chairs, desks, two sets of built-in drawers, and closets. There is one data computer jack per student and basic cable TV service.
Linens are also included. Self-service laundry machines are available in the same dorm building for a small fee. Security: There is one resident assistant for each floor - 2 for approximately 30 students.
The residence hall is magnetically locked and is only accessible with a coded student ID that each student receives from the RA upon arrival. The campus police station is located across from Marian Hall and the ELS center. After 11 pm vehicles entering campus must show student ID.
