Calabria is a region in Southern Italy. It's considered the Caribbean of Europe thanks to its pristine beaches, stunning landscape, and rustic charms. Hillside towns, ancient Greek temples and Byzantine churches dot the countryside of Italy's best kept secret.

The warm climate, the beautiful colors of the sea, rocky coasts that alternate with sandy beaches, a nature that is wild and mysterious, the strong and genuine flavors of local food and the vestiges of its ancient origins make Calabria a unique place that people can enjoy in both winter and summer.

Calabria is also a region of remarkable beauty, with a long history dating back to its role at the heart of Magna Graecia in Classical antiquity.

The climate is Mediterranean with average low temperatures of 8 °C in the winter. The cold season lasts from November to March with an average daily high temperature below 18°C.

The warm season lasts from June to September with an average daily high temperature above28°C.  Along the Apennines and in the inland areas, the climate is mountainous with cold, snowy winters and warm, dry summers with occasional thunderstorms.
